My gosh. Amelia is p-e-r-f-e-c-t. Like actually. Sigh. Some people are so pretty.
 
Soo today I had a half-day because of Memorial Day weekend and got to catch up on my TV! :) And (though I'm dying because Grey's is over) I was so happy because this week's Chicago Fire was INSANE. Omg. And then, I found out that ROOKIE BLUE CAME BACK THIS WEEK. The first episode was ah-mazing. You all need to watch it. Nick Collins is the cutest character ever.
 
Also, I felt the urge to bake, so I tried baking these funfetti sugar cookies from scratch because I found a recipe on a really popular cooking blog, so I was confident it would work out, but it didn't. Not really. I was disappointed. Does any have any actually good recipes for sugar cookies? Or any good recipes in general that you've tried and know work? I love baking. But I hate trying out new recipes because it's just such a waste of time/effort/ingredients when they don't end up tasting good.
 
Alrighty. Enough ranting. I'll try to go on Polyvore again tomorrow to catch up a little, but I might be going somewhere with my mom, so we'll see...

Omg guys we had a field day today where we split up into our old elementary schools and the school doesn't tell us when it is, they just announce it mid-day so it's a surprise and it was the funnest thing ever! And my elementary school won!!!! We're just awesome like that :P
 
And then my friends and I went out for fro-yo after and it was DELISH. Omg today was such a great day. But now I don't feel like doing any work cause it feels like a Friday. Sigh.

I'm obsessed with this song. And let me just tell you, as soon as I first heard it, I CALLED THAT CIMORELLI WAS GOING TO COVER IT. So, of course, I was so happy when I saw it this morning: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aO0rvqStl9U. Though they should've done an acoustic version. #justsaying. But whatever, I still liked it!
 
So um yeah that set created in the app yesterday was just a little bit grossly proportioned-- I'll probably have to tweak that a bit on the computer, but, hey, there's a first time for everything!
 
One of my friends came over last night and we had CPK and had a delicious dinner and literally talked for five hours non-stop, but a good heart-to-heart is always nice :)
 
And this set has quite a different mix of colors than my normal variety, but I don't know I just really wanted to mix those shorts with a striped top. Haha.
 
Alright. Sorry. I know I haven't caught up in a while, but I have a research paper to write now, so talk to you guys some other time!
 
OH. But before I leave, I wanted to greet @limabean-347 a HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! You are just about the sweetest person ever, and I'm so glad we "met" on Polyvore this year. You always leave the longest/nicest comments and take the time to read all my rants and bloggies and stuff, which I appreciate so much! Hope you find the perfect outfit for your graduation and have a good last few weeks of middle school! Seriously. Enjoy it while it lasts. High school is the most stressful thing ever. Haha. Eh I actually wore this the other day, but I forgot to publish it, so we can pretend I'm wearing this today. Though it's much colder this week. Grr. It was freezing yesterday. AND IT'S MAY! Sigh. Why you no come faster, Spring?
 
Anyway. I'm pulling a Ferris Bueller today. Actually, I should not be making that reference because I've never actually watched the movie, but yeah. Didn't go to school today because my allergies have been killing me, and I've been feeling pretty crummy lately. That, or I just have a cold. I can't even tell. But one of my eyes feels like it's exploding right now. Argh. I'm pretty sure it's allergies.
 
So now, here I am, on Polyvore instead of in French class.
 
But. I'm being responsible and using these extra hours to study for my history test on Friday. Sooo I should get back to that.

P.S. One of my classmates was telling me a funny story... This past Sunday, someone was like to them, "Well today is a pretty special day!" And she was like, "Oh yeah, cause it's Mother's Day!" Went to the city with my friends today... that was fun! I had the most delicious smoothie. Nom.
 
It was so nice outside today, too! I really can't wait for summer! I feel like I say that every week. Haha. But it's true.
 
Watching Grey's right now... I love this show so much! Omg. Love this Matthew character. He's such a cutie.
 
Ah Gatsby came out today! I really wanted to watch it, but then I heard it wasn't so good. But I heard the only redeeming part was Leo's acting, so yay for Leo :)

So sorry, I did another one of these layouts. But unfortunately I don't have time to make a real set this weekend. But hey, think about it this way-- I save so much time with these layouts I was able to make two for you this weekend! :)
 
It's been so nice lately and all I want is to lie in the sun, under the trees, with the birds and the bees, reading Perks or TFIOS. Sighs. But one of my best friends slept over last night because both of her parents are away, and I literally haven't had a sleepover since I was like 13 or something, and this was so fun. Haha. We talked so much and it was a nice break after a long week.
 
And next weekend I'm going to the city with a bunch of my friends (granted, it's to see a museum for a history assignment, but hey, it's gonna be fun :))!
 
Um I want to go shopping so bad, but I literally never have money. Ever. Lol. Eww I sound like such a brat. But it's so hard for a Poly/Tumblr girl when we're surrounded by such gorgeous clothes all the time, ya know? Lol.
 
Do you know that I have to physically log myself off of Tumblr and Polyvore to prevent myself from checking it every 5 seconds. Ugh. Fact: I deprive myself of sleep to allow myself the pleasure of going on Polyvore/Tumblr/Facebook throughout the day.
 
And lol I was thinking the other day how weird it is that not more people in my school have Tumblrs (or use it like cool Tumblr people do ;)) and are really like "Tumblr-girls", ya know, and how no one's discovered Polyvore and actually go on these sites and have presences on them like I do. Because, I don't know, it's so fun, right? And then I realized, "Oh wait. It's because I don't have a life." Lol. But whatever. Internet life > real life. Haha. No, but don't worry, I'm not an isolated freak. I promise. I hang out with my friends too (sometimes) ;) ;) ;)
 
But anyway. This distracting myself business has gone on for too long now. I must bid you guys adieu.
